# 9 - History Begins: Noah's Flood & The Sumarian Civilization

Noah’s Ark today exists at the Durupinar site in modern day Turkey.  What would you expect a 5000 year old boat hulk to look like—one which was buried in mud for centuries?  ...Pretty much like the photo’s above.  The Ark slid down from higher above in a mud flow.  It seems God has preserved the Ark under the mud and uncovered it only recently so it could be seen and researched.  Stories of a flood are fairly universal like this one from the Michoacan tribe of Mexico:
“When the floodwaters began to rise, a man named Tezpi entered into a great vessel, taking with him his wife and children and diverse seeds and animals.  When the waters abated, the man sent out a vulture, but the bird found plenty of corpses to eat and didn’t return.  Finally, he sent out a hummingbird, which returned with a green bough in its beak.”

“The team says radiocarbon-dated wood taken from the discovery site—whose location they're keeping secret for now—shows the purported ark is about 4,800 years old, which coincides roughly with the time of Noah's flood implied by the Bible.” -National Geographic Daily News.
The Worshipers of  Oannes was Sumer’s first step into history, the dilated pupils suggest the way in which they worshiped.  “The Sumerian civilization developed on the Persian Gulf, growing to strength at around 4 - 3,000 B.C.  The 'Plain of the Land of Shinar' is the territory which after 2,000 B.C. became called Babylon.  The Greeks named the region Mesopotamia (The land between two rivers), most of which lies in the modern state of Iraq.  The exact origins of the Sumerians are unknown. They entered Mesopotamia c. 4,000 B.C.

The original homeland of the Sumerians is unknown. It is believed that they came from the east (2), but whether by sea or from the highlands is unknown. We know that they are not local people because their language belongs to an isolated language group. During the 5th millennium B.C. a people known as the Ubaidians established settlements in the region later known as Sumer (Mesopotamia) The Ubaid 'Annunaki' c.4,000 B.C.

At around 3,250 BC, another people migrated from its homeland, located probably northeast of Mesopotamia, and began to intermarry with the native population. The newcomers, who became known as Sumerians, spoke an agglutinative language unrelated apparently to any other known language. (2)

Sumerian 'Priests' or 'Votive Statues' c. 3,000 - 2,500 BC.

By 3,100 B.C. the population of Sumer had increased to the point where people were living in cities.(2)

The first Sumerian ruler of historical record, Etana, king of Kish (flourished about 2,800 BC), was described in a document written centuries later as the "man who stabilized all the lands." (2)

The early dynastic period of Sumer covers the part of the third millennium from 2,800 to 2,400 BC, and ends with the conquest of Sumer by a Semitic king of the north, Sargon I of Akkad. (1)

It is noteworthy of the student to see that the hat of the Pope, that of Dagon is in the form of a fishes head...
The story of Oannes or the “Man Teaching Fish” arose first among the Babylonians.  Of whom the Tower of Babble is attributed.  Above at left you can see the “Fish” deity who taught the first civilization how to live.  “This Being was accustomed to pass the day among men; but took no food at that season; and he gave them an insight into letters and sciences, and arts of every kind.  He taught them to construct cities, to found temples, to compile laws, and explained to them the principles of geometrical knowledge.  He made them distinguish the seeds of the earth , and shewed them how to collect the fruits; in short, he instructed them in every thing which could ten to soften manners and humanize their lives.  From that time, nothing material has been added by way of improvement to his instructions…”  -Hall, 1988: LXXXIV.  Yet as you see, once “Eve” was tricked by those seeds of iniquity she led “Adam” or mankind away from the Golden Teacher—that Spirit behind the ‘Hand of God.’ See "Years Go By," Neil Finn.
Research has show that Civilizations formed around Religion, but Religion itself formed around Psilocybin.  .  The Sumerian’s, priest-historian Berossus left to us an account of Oannes, the half-man, half-fish you see in the above Sumerian clay seal.  Oannes was said to have the gift of writing, sciences and every kind of art.  It was Oannes who taught the early inhabitants of Mesopotamia the arts of civilization.  The fish stands by the tree of life over which the crescent moon and an eagle winged set of three deities reside.  Behind the talking fish rise the symbols for the Blue Lotus and the Poppy.  The Pope still wares the fish headed hat called the hat of Dagon.
Many of the practices of and beliefs of Sumer were passed to the Babylonians and Assyrians then through contact and deliberate borrowing to the Hittites, Phoenicians and finally to the Greeks.  Some like the hat of Dagon have come down to reach us today others have not but are being uncovered.
Psilocybin was displayed at the palace of Ashur-nasir-pal II at Nimrud, in the 9th century BC. In ancient times the city was called Kalou. The Arabs called the city Nimrud after the Biblical Nimrod.  The first mention of Nimrod is in the Table of Nations. He is described as the son of Cush, grandson of Ham, and great-grandson of Noah.  A great builder, a Mason which in French means ‘the sons of light’ -but which light?   Notice this Tree of Life’s Scallop shelled fountain head with the pearl of ‘great worth’ within.  Jewish tradition and artwork will later include these keys as well some of the Mystery Schools history such as the Jewish month of Tamuz…
Ashur, son of Shem was one of Noah’s nephews. The Assyrians traced themselves to the god-ancestor Ashur and the city he founded by that name on the Tigris. In Plato's Euthydemus, Zeus, Athena, and Apollo are called his 'gods,’ 'lords and ancestors'.  Pay close attention not only the the scallop laced fountain of life but also the head dresses of king Ashurnasirpal II—it is the ‘mortar and pestle’ used to crush the head of the serpent—literally the Morning Glory seeds.

We’ve all heard the story of the Golden Calf, but few have heard why the Golden Calf was the image most recognized in the raw golden lump pulled from the furnace.  Here we see the causal links of association in this Assyrian artwork.  The human mind we it tries to discern the origin of the Sacrament Psilocybin, quickly deducts that it has no visible seed and not much in the way of roots.  So where does it come from?  We’ll it comes from the cow pie or horse dung, but the cow pie specifically produces the largest and most stately of the 184+ species of Psilocybin.  So then the reasoning mind (not being satisfied with “the divine mushroom of manure”), realizes that it is the Cow that produced the dung which produced the mushroom.  While that certainly contributed to why Cow’s were holy in India, it was the next step of reasoning that led to the golden calf idol…  The origin of the Cow is the calf, there was no earlier traceable material source for this magical golden manna that the Jew’s were all baptized into at the crossing of the red sea…  Thus through human reason we failed to know the source—the hidden God and worshiped instead the Golden Calf.
The Fall of Ancient Babylon. In 539 BCE (540 BC), the kingdom of Babylon was invaded in one night when Cyrus dammed up the river Euphrates, this dried up the Euphrates river and the soldiers entered the city under the walls and conquered the empire. He placed Darius the Mede as the ruler.

The Largest Army. Before the Greeks conquered Persia, Darius III assembled the largest army ever created to try and stop the progress of the Greeks (over 1,000,000 men from 40 different nations). He was still defeated by Alexander, who had no money and only 35,000 men, in the Battle of Arbela (also known as the battle of Gaugamela). Alexander was only 25 years old. The independent, warring Greek states allied themselves to fight for their freedom.

Too few have studied history, but if they had they would find that like our age, it is full of betrayal and failure to learn the lessons of history.  Among the Persians there came to be a king who had a son (Cyrus) that in a dream deposed him.  This king had the new born son disposed of by his first in charge.  The first in charge however gave the boy to a Shepard to keep.  When the king discovered this he secretly had the capital man eat his own child.  Later this Persian General turned on the king and joined the army of the Medes led by Cyrus.  It was this Cyrus that freed the Jews from captivity and according to his experiential spirituality with God, he was told to provide the means to rebuild the holy temple at Jerusalem which he did.  God has said that he raised up Egypt so that all the world might know His Name.  What does a pyramid with a long white walkway leading up to it look like?  Or what do fish and mushrooms have in common?  Scales, gills and dependence on water...  Next we will step into ancient Egypt and see where the path leads.

# 8 - Prehistory: The Preflood Religious Use of Sacraments

Here follows an account of the religious beliefs of the per-deluge or flood peoples (Atlantis).
Even though "SOMA" is thought of as East Indian 'after the deluge' its history proceeds the flood.

40,000 years ago mankind gathered the bluing Psilocybin mushrooms from the tropical climate of India.  These mushrooms sprang up in and around cow pastures.  At around 2,000 BC Nordic Tribes of Aryan’s invaded the Indus Valley bring with them the “Red Bull of the Mountain.”  Soma, originally Psilocybin was now Soma—Amanita muscaria.  Indu was name given the original Soma (Psilocybin).  Later a vine crept into the mix-Argyreia nervosa of the Morning Glory Family—Symbolized by the Conch Shell.  “Ye will not find him who produced these creatures: another thing hath risen up among you.  Enwrapt in misty cloud, with lips that stammer, hymn-chanters wander and are discontented” (Moore, 1957:18).

The earliest rock art depicting psychoactive medicines is of Psilocybin mushrooms from India.  At 40,000 years old, it is clear that humanities consciousness found its major catalyst here.  The “Rock,” as Psilocybin is sometimes called was depicted by early humans in an unusually reverse of anthropomorphization.  Humans made themselves into mushroom people—in India.  The earliest written religious text, the “Rig Veda” testifies to this bemushroomed state when it records that the ‘Golden Embryo first arose over the waters covering the earth—from it was born all that breaths and blinks.’  Psilocybe cyanesis, shown above is commonly found in the Indus Valley where these petroglyphs are found.  Please pay special note to the first image which has "arrow head" mushrooms popping out of the Bee Shaman and note also the "arrow tail" above - it runs through history as you will see.

Here we see "Humankind" holding up the "Tree of Life" - dated 40,000 years old...

This precious Living Manna can heal serious addictions, abuse issues and have an impact on many physical and emotional diseases.  We observed one man who had been a functioning alcoholic and cigarette smoker for 30 years who kicked both habits after one 7 gram journey.  He is now motivated to look at the issues under the addictions and has used the sacrament to help him to access these issues that were part of the underling material in his subconscious.  The implications for this medicine are immense.  Perhaps this will assist in the arrival of the final stage in which humanity will at last live in peace with each other through the cleansing of the hearts of those walking wounded on the planet.  We know another woman who is healing from extreme childhood abuse with the help of this medicine.  Layer after layer of stored painful emotions and the poor life choices that rested upon those dark holes are being cleansed and filled in.  The implications for those who end up in jails are significant, as Psilocybin raises the Serotonin levels throughout the body.  Major studies have shown a causal link between crimes such as murder and low levels of the “King Transmitter” Serotonin (Roger D. Masters 1994 & Strassman 2001).  The majority of them are acting out from abusive childhood issues that have gone untreated.  This medicine could impact our world in a truly positive way- binging an awareness of the living Christ as well as cleansing the hearts of the wounded.
Gordon Wasson first identified the 10,000 year old petroglyphs from the Pegtymel River in Far East Siberia.  With careful inspection you can make out not only the hemispherical mushroom caps of Amanita muscaria above the females, but you can see the Psilocybe mushroom headed male in their midst—whose head cap like Psilocybin has a slight point to it (I guess the Women just wanted to be different...Shocker!).  What choice to have to make, follow the Woman’s lead and eat the red stop sign “apple” or follow God and stick to the Tree of Life.
Still to this day the Amanita muscaria mushrooms are used by various tribes in Siberia.  There is a custom among them which could easily have lead to the Hindu Caste System.  The wealthy afford themselves a large store of  these dried red and white mushrooms.  In winter when everyone else is out of these mushrooms the urine is drunk to produce the same effect as the mushrooms.  Thus the Brahmin or Priests passed their intoxicating urine to the bravest warrior who took by force his position as first in line.  This warrior then sold his urine to a merchant or trader Caste member for some goods or wealth and on down the line it passed.
The Venus of Willendorf was found at a Paleolithic village in Willendorf Austria.  It is believed to be roughly 20,000 years old.  At one time this 4” statue was painted red and as you can tell from its head it emulated the Amanita muscaria’s cap as well as color.  Once humankind became ensnared in all that the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil had to offer, we naturally turned to goddess worship as logic and reason show us that all things are born from what is female.

The Algerian Bee Shaman are not all that Terrence McKenna found in Africa.  Above are the dancing bemushroomed peoples of that region—Thought to be 6000 years old, these images show a procession of mushroom headed dancers each caries a mushroom in his hand where it can be seen.  Beneath a trail of stars which fall to the ground at the leaders feet.   Notice the shape these white points of light take once they reach the ground.  It is the geometric outline of a pyramid with the “capstone” - presumably a Psilocybin mushroom next to it.  It is said that before the great flood, two monuments were built one of stone one of clay.  The world was destroyed by flood and the stone monument—The great Pyramid of Gaza seems to be that astronomical and mathematical perfection left to the post deluge age…  Of the line of Seth it is said that he was the first to begin calling on the Name of the Lord again...

The Algerian Bee Shaman (upper left) was first commented upon by Terrence McKenna—It is thought to be 6000 years old.  Notice the stylistic similarity to this South African Bee Shaman of more recent but as yet unknown date.

Well that's all I have for this entry, stay tuned - next time we dive into history as Civilization Begins...(again).

Sincerely,

# 7 - Aztec or Nahuatl Religious & Cultural Use of Psilocybin, A. muscaria & Morning Glories

The Aztecs were an interesting people, their history says that they were guided to their future homeland by the “Child God.”  Who predicted that the location would be known by an eagle atop a cactus eating a serpent.  Nice symbolism!  The Mexican flag has this emblem on it today, and as with the ancient Aztec art it too has the Psilocybin mushroom enigmatically place at the base of the cactus—the symbol of the Scallop shell.  Apparently the designers of Mexico’s Flag knew that the Oak/Acorn and Olive were European symbols for the same sacrament.  As to why the “Child God” gives it away, you must recall the Jesus said, unless you become like one of these little children you will never enter the kingdom of heaven” -Matthew 18:3.

Very little is recorded of how the Aztecs utilized Amanita muscaria.  But that they did is clearly illustrated in the art work they left behind.  The Maya of our modern era considered A. muscaria “the Evil Mushroom.”  A telling title for so vibrant and ‘stop sign’ like a mushroom.  Certainly our basic natural instinct for self preservation tells us that anything that brightly colored and easy to capture has the really possibility of poisoning its consumer.  It is know that the Aztec Priests considered the users (priests) of the Psilocybin mushroom to be ‘an arrogant people.’  Much as the common non-Christian views the Christian’s in general.  One thing is for sure about the continued and serious searching out of Psilocybin—the experience if not the Voice (See Maria Sabina) imparts confidence and certainty that are a challenge to current paradigms...
Known as the “Green Snake Plant” among the Nautal or Aztec peoples of Mexico it was their primary religion.  You can read in the cronicals of the Fransiscan Friers how they burned practiciners at the stake for having these seeds in their homes and set fire to the Morning Glory vines that grew along the river banks.  The Nautal claimed that they had no need of the Christian religion or its God as they had a god of their own who communicated with them directly through the seeds…
Above you see the Aztec deity Huitzilopochtli, whose name means (huitzilin, “hummingbird” and opochtli, “left) Hummingbird on the left… (the left handed path).  He was the Aztec sun and war god.  At this time the Aztecs have fully integrated Morning Glories and Mushrooms (Oil & Water) into their culture.  The small portrait of this deity shows a golden mushroom crown, the Feathered Serpent as the raised blue Snake Plant in his right hand.  Above we see the basic symbol of the Morning Glory flower in the shield, the iron cross (yes Hitler also used this symbol as well as the swastika)  and the outline of the conch shell worn in cross-section on the chest.  The humming bird feeds by association from this deities third eye—the Morning Glory.

Huitzilopochtli demanded human blood sacrifices in order that he, the sun might return the next day.  Careful research into Aztec behavior has revealed that prisoners were taken from other tribes in warfare.  Then the families of the captives were invited to come witness the sacrifice of their sons.  They were given constructed booths decorated with flowers (how nice) and sacred mushrooms to eat as their sons hearts were torn out.  To make matters worse the Aztecs would force feed the victims Psilocybin mushrooms to cause them to fight more vigorously and so that their heart would remain pumping well after it was removed from their chest.  If you saw the movie Apocalypto - you'll recall that the victems were symbolically painted blue (the staining color of Psilocybin mushrooms) while the Aztec Priests were painted green (Serpent Vine). Here you see the sacrificed victims heart above in the shape of the scallop shell (symbolic for Psilocybin).  The top of the above temple, dedicated to Huitzilapochtli was decorated with cross sections of conch shells - exposing the inner spiril symbolic of the Morning Glory's snake like tendrils...

 Apocalypto Blues...

Huitzilopochtli temple performing human sacrifice.  At the temples top you can just make out another of this Morning Glory deity’s symbols, a stand of butterflies crowns his gory thrown.  Below temple priests blow his traditional sign the conch shell announcing the blood sacrifice.  A Wise One or one who wants to know, should avail themselves of a copy of Bill Coopers “Mystery Babylon Series” to see just how many cultures were caught up in the worship of the Morning Star or solar deity.  At left here we see a personification of Quetzalcoatl, whose name means bird-snake or Feathered Serpent.  This is yet another personification of the spirit behind the consumed Morning Glory seeds.  It has been called the Flying Serpent by modern occult orders but was known as the Feathered Serpent as early as the Teotihuacán culture whose artworks show a massive serpent with stylized flowers springing from its body.  The Maya called this spirit Kukulcan or the Vision Serpent, while the Aztecs called him the Lightning Serpent or Quetzalcoatl.   A blending of “drugs” was occurring—a take over...

The Aztecs themselves recorded that in their opinion the Mushroom eaters were a arrogant bunch.  Of coarse you could see how this would be, when you discover through Mushrooms that you have a conscience.  If the sacramental use of Psilocybin mushrooms did nothing else, it enlarges the conscience of its consumer.  Perhaps we need to put that “sacramental use” into the context of concepts like the Golden Rule—that is ‘do unto others as you would have done to yourself.’  As apposed to the more modern interpretation of the Golden Rule:  ’he who has the gold rules’.  Yes, undoubtedly people have misused Psilocybe Mushrooms and as surely as the Lord’s Name was taken in vain so that will also happen here.  However, the good outweighs the bad and it is therefore a cost worth paying.
The Mushroom eaters of the Aztecs were a suppressed group that dwelt in the corner of Aztec society.  They were healers and prophets and weather workers.  Huitzilopochtli shared his temple with Toloc the rain god who has long been associated with the sacred mushrooms, perhaps this prevalence within the temple was what allowed the attitude of such Mushroom Priests to be known and recorded in the first place.  It is a recorded fact that among Mesoamerican Indians it was traditional to send a Mushroom Priest up into the mountains to summon rain when a drought was sever enough.  So Toloc priests, though they apposed heart sacrifice were not to be done away with for rain was sure to be needed.

So concludes our study of Mesoamerican History as it relates to the use of these three Psychedelics: Psilocybin, Amanita muscaria & the Morning Glories.  Taking what we've learned we will now step into ancient history and puzzle the whole thing out - as Dave Matthews once recorded that he wished he could: "I pull you out like strings of lilies...how I wish I could puzzle the whole damn (life and its meaning) thing out."

# 6 - Mayan Culture: Kukulcan, Vision Serpent & Psilocybin

The Vision Serpent was a Mayan deity that allowed deceased relatives to be communicated with.  It is exceedingly likely that sacraments were used to invoke this deity.  The evoker was required to bleed him or her self and put the blood as an offering into to bowl from which the visionary serpent arose. This is common with the extended religious use of Morning Glories - This deity/entity demanded blood and was closely liked to beings such as the Flayed One.  The exchange seems to have been one of "Light" for blood...

The Mayan word Bolom is what we call the Jaguar.  Notice this Mayan head dress, it’s a composit of a Bolom, a Quetzal bird and three serpents one in the shape of a mushroom.  It would appear that after Teotihuacán collapse the Mayan’s inherited their confusion.  However, the Mayan mushroom stones which were also seen in the Olmec do preserve the basic symbolism of Mushroom culture.  These stones were commonly found in caches of four.  Certainly they would be set as property demarcations around discovered Wondrous Mushroom patches.

One new aspect that the Maya brought to the depiction of Psilocybin mushrooms in art was the profile.  Instead of just showing us the earing cap and nipple (umbo) they added the profile; showing cap and stem displaying an even more recognizable bell shaped icon.

# 5 - Andean Cultures: Paracas, Nazca & Mocha

The Peruvian cultures had an intimate knowledge of the sacrament Psilocybin.  Paracas and Nazca peoples depicted flying peoples with mushrooms in their hands.  Interestingly the two cultures shared the bird head band, symbolic of spiritual fight.  Notice that the far left Paracas artwork hold a blue capped gold stemmed mushroom.  Notice also that the figures feet are those of a Jaguar.  Directly at left is a golden statue of the Peruvian Moche culture.

The Moche culture lived in the Peruvian mountains and left for us a rich cache of sacramental art.  Here we have a drinking vessel that was no doubt filled with the crushed seeds of one of the two Morning Glories.  The seeds were plentiful and easily transported, the Franciscan missionaries were beside themselves in regards to this fact.  This vessel uses the handle spouts as the flowers design while the tendrils signify that it is Morning Glories.  The Humming bird is one of two creatures that frequent these species of Morning Glories, the Butterfly is the other closely associated symbol for Morning Glories.
The Moche like the Olmec, were well aware of the Amanita muscaria mushrooms as well.  So, naturally artwork remains from each culture showing is sacramental use.  Amanita muscaria is a tricky species to use and it isn’t recommended.  It is said that the active ingredient ibotenic acid in Amanita muscaria must be transformed by heat or possibly drying into Muscimol in order for the experience to be a mystical one.  Our research has shown that the state produced by these mushrooms when properly prepared is very like the description and nature of Star Trek’s Mr. Spock’s.  The heart, or empathetic nature dies for the duration of the experience and pure cold logic prevails.  Nothing like the nature of empathetic heart overflowing Psilocybin, save perhaps in its intensity and in the canyon like follow of depth of thought.

# 4 - Mesoamerica: Teotihuacán

Teotihuacán means ‘The City of the Gods’ or “Where Men Become Gods” (in Nahuatl).  It is located in the valley of the same name 30 miles north of Mexico City.  The city was inhabited between 400 BC and 650 AD with its collapse from 650—750 AD.  The three ‘holy sites’ of Teotihuacán were its pyramids: the temple of the Sun, Moon and Feathered Serpent.  True to the East Indian theology that the sun came from the moon we find that the first temple built was the Temple of the Moon (Psilocybin).  Next the temple of the Sun was built, much larger than the Moon.  Archeologists believe that the Temple of the Sun had been painted red and white.
The last temple built was the temple of the Feathered Serpent.  While it was built some sixteen prisoners were tied and sealed alive into its walls as a sacrifice to this deity.  Naturally, the devil being so sneaky as to convince the world that he never existed has left only positive descriptions of himself by way of descriptions of the Feathered Serpent.  Yet, the careful researcher will find the truth out.  Above is the temple of the Sun, once red and white for the Amanita muscaria—Santa Claus’ mushroom and also Beelzebub's.  The Quiche Maya refer to it as “the evil mushroom.”
Teotihuacán temple art is rich with sacramental symbolism.  Take for instance the masked figure above, his mouth is covered with the symbol for wind (i.e. spirit) while his ears have the same symbols as Xochipilli...  Identified with the spiritual ‘hear-aid’ of Psilocybin, you can easily see why these symbols were used when you compare them to these Psilocybe mexicana at left.  As for the association with the moon, well that is because A. muscaria already took the symbol of the sun and Psilocybe are much paler...

Here we have an original Teotihuacán incense burning.  As with most ancient religions, incense was more potent the further you go back.  While we read about frankincense and mur in the Bible, it was with Opium leaves that the Jewish temple columns were covered in...  The residents of Teotihuacán did not suffer to cover these facts up—it was an age of faith.  Here we can identify the Opium Poppy capsules, a yellow Angle Trumpet, grape bunches, a scallop shell and a flower with a tendril—most likely morning glory.

Goddess worship seems to have taken up roots during this era between the Olmec and the Toltec/Maya periods.  Here we see a goddess or priestess, with gold and blue mushrooms in her ears but also with a necklace of morning glories and a branch of tendril flowers that are sure to be the Morning Glories.  Mesoamerican cultures had a tendency to lean to the Snake Plant more than the Mushrooms in part because the Morning Glories could be grown in great abundance along the river side, while mushrooms were seasonal.  Careful examination shows a merging of the two distinct spiritual “plants.”

Above you see the twin Morning Glories of Mesoamerica: Ololiuqui and Tlitliltzin whose seeds are crushed to produce the liquid that is drunk.  One vine is painted red while the other is painted yellow, each vine branch ends with a Morning Glory shaped flower with eyes in it.  The central priests hands give off this liquid potion and two tendrils extend above each hand to show that it is Morning Glories.  Mushrooms are also found sprouting up from the liquid that each flower pours out.  This is a reversal of the tradition that the Moon (Psilocybe) is the father and creator of all, the Serpent has supplanted the Jaguar...

Here in Teotihuacan, we see the merger that the Olmecs avoided, the Jaguar with the scallop shells lining his back is drinking from a Morning Glory conch shell vessel with a distinctive tendril in its base and flower symbols along the top.  Above are emblems of Toloc—a deity associated with wind/water, is typified by the basic mushroom symbol which looks just like the “M” in mushroom.  Next to Toloc is the star symboled deity, it is arguably representative of the Morning Glory, but could also be an unknown deity ascribed to the star shaped cactus containing Mescaline, the Trichocereus family.  Commonly called San Pedro, it has been documented to have been used as early as 3000 B.C.  The archaeologist Rosa Fung, found the remains of this cactus rolled up into cigar-like form that were dated back to 2200 B.C.  Supposedly the cactus was named after Saint Peter because it was, like Peter, thought to hold the keys to heaven.

The Temple of the Feathered Serpent was the last temple to be built.  Some time not long after its dedication, the city rebelled and abandoned the site.  Fire was thrown onto the Fathered Serpents temple…  The other temples were left undisturbed.   Here you see the serpents head, with the universal spiral conch shell next to it—its symbol.  It is likely, because scallop shells are also found on the temples fasad as well as the rain deity Toloc that the usurping of the Mushrooms to be an underling of the Morning Glory was well underway.  Naturally, the human sacrifices that this Snake Plant induced its priests to commit lead to the burning of its temple and the abandonment of Teotihuacán.  By examining the outer flower leaf and petal clasping of the seed capsules themselves we can see where the head of the serpent gets its corona.

These three highly decorative green stones were found inside the Temple of the Feathered Serpent at Teotihuacán.  Notice how their shape is closely matched to the seed capsules of the Morning Glories themselves.  Notice also that the bottoms are not flat or flush but are ground so that the edges have been worn away.  These are the stones used to grind the seeds of what the Aztecs called the Green Snake Plant, they are in effect the same thing as a mortar and pestle.  Turn back a few pages and you will see that the goddess emerges from what look like mountain shapes but are in fact the same clasping cones that hold the seed pod to the vine.  Hence the Mother Goddess has long since been associated with the spiral as derived from the tendril.  Mesoamerican legend has it that long ago the Morning Glories used to be an “upright” plant, standing on its own stalk.  Can you see between the lines here?  “And the snake was cursed for deciving Eve, no longer could it stand upright.  Enmity was put between women and the serpent and its head was crushed…”
